Configure publisher settings, product settings, and import settings for each store location. These location-scoped settings allow you to customize which publishers are available, which distributors to use, and how imports are processed for each individual store location.

What this feature does

Products & Distributors Settings provides location-specific configuration for publishers, product types, and import processes. Each store location can have different publisher availability, distributor assignments, and import settings, allowing for customized operations per location.

How to Use Products & Distributors Settings

Step-by-step

Configuring Publisher Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Publishers to access publisher configuration.

  2. Select the store location you want to configure from the location dropdown.

  3. Use the dropdown or toggle to enable/disable publishers for the selected location.

  4. For each enabled publisher, select the preferred distributor from the distributor dropdown.

  5. Review the active/inactive indicators to ensure correct configuration.

  6. Click Save to apply the publisher settings for the selected location.

  7. Switch to other locations to configure different publisher settings as needed.

Configuring Product Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Products to access product configuration.

  2. Select the store location you want to configure from the location dropdown.

  3. Configure product type settings specific to the selected location.

  4. Set up product categories and classifications as needed.

  5. Review and adjust any location-specific product configurations.

  6. Click Save to apply the product settings for the selected location.

  7. Repeat for other locations with different product requirements.

Configuring Import Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Imports to access import configuration.

  2. Select the store location you want to configure from the location dropdown.

  3. Configure import settings specific to the selected location.

  4. Set up customer import preferences and data mapping.

  5. Configure product import settings and validation rules.

  6. Review recent imports to check for any errors or issues.

  7. Click Save to apply the import settings for the selected location.

Managing Location-Specific Settings

  1. Use the location dropdown to switch between different store locations.

  2. Configure different settings for each location based on their specific needs.

  3. Verify that changes are scoped to the currently selected location.

  4. Test import functionality to ensure settings are working correctly.

  5. Review error messages and troubleshoot any configuration issues.
